About

As an Intuitive Eating Guide, I am here to help YOU discover what it means to enjoy food, make eating a stress-free and pleasurable part of your life, so you can focus more of your energy on your true passions.

Ever since I was a little girl, cooking and baking have played an essential part in my life. I remember tinkering around the kitchen with my grandmothers, who taught me the value of cooking from the heart, not from a rulebook. It was more than simply enjoying the flavors of Eastern European comfort food at its finest. It was a way of learning about and embracing my family’s culture and ancestral roots.

“Working with Olena helped me open my eyes to the joy’s of food again. Before working with her food felt frustrating and hard. She helped me remember how to make food fun and connect with my cultural roots. Today, my mindset around food, making meals, and eating are a positive fun experience that I am grateful to have again.”

REGISTERED DIETICIAN

Today, as Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I believe that food is so much more than fuel for our bodies. Food is a way to connect with your loved ones, a way to celebrate life, a way to experience other cultures, and a way to nourish your soul. One of my favorite things to do is to make people happy through food. I credit my lifelong, healthy relationship with food to a curious palate, strong appreciation for the craft of cooking, and growing up in a family where food wasn’t reward or punishment but an integral part everyday life and special occasions.

MAMA NOTES

As a mama, I know how social media can potentially have a negative effect on how we view food. It’s important for me to share the message that food isn’t “good” or “bad” and doesn’t determine your worth as a person. Rather, it’s meant to be enjoyed. Remember, food isn’t the enemy – the negative mindset we have around it is and I can teach you to change that.
